Detail-oriented, organized, personable individual needed to join the Communities Advancing Science for Society (ComPASS) Coordination Center Team as a Sr. Project Manager. The ComPASS Coordination Center is a newly funded grant program awarded by the National Institutes of Health. The role of the Drexel ComPASS Coordination Center (C3) is to support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of 25 Community Health Equity Structural Intervention (CHESI) sites across the country. We invite applicants to come and be a part of a team that is dedicated and determined to advance public health as a human right. The successful applicant will have outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills. The Sr. Project Manager will be assigned to a range of COMPASS functions with a special focus in developing and maintaining project management structures to achieve the goals of the ComPASS Coordination Center (C3).

Essential Functions

Support the overall COMPASS Co-Directors and Sr. Project Manager in a range of organizational tasks including developing and updating workplans, tracking outputs, following up on action items, and developing reports and presentations.

Support COMPASS Core leads in developing and implementing strategies and workplans to advance the achievement of the C3, tracking progress on project milestones, scheduling and staffing core meetings (including preparing agendas and minutes and following up on items).

Coordinate and support data collection efforts including annual surveys or other data collection efforts as needed.

Assist in the coordination and staffing of various centrally coordinated COMPASS meetings.

Maintain files on Microsoft Teams and SharePoint, as well as Google Drive, and ensure that all necessary files, presentations, recordings, etc. are deposited into team-accessible folders as needed.

Assist with reporting and submissions to NIH and Drexel's IRB.

Other tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Master's degree in public health or related field or Equivalent work experience

5 years of relevant experience

Very detail oriented, organized, and comfortable with multitasking

Comfortable working with project management software

Possess excellent oral, written, analytical/quantitative, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Strong leadership and project management skills

Team oriented and experienced working with diverse groups

Can work independently

Demonstrated complex problem-solving ability

Proficient in MS Office Suite, Teams and SharePoint

Proficient in use of Google Drive and applications (Google Docs, Spreadsheet, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity and experience with NIH-funded research

Experience supporting coordinating centers for multisite studies

Experience using Monday.com for project management

Physical Requirements

Typically sitting at a desk/table

Additional Information

This position is classified as exempt, grade L. Compensation for this grade ranges from $62,630 to $93,950 per year. Please note that the offered rate for this position typically aligns with the minimum to midrange of this grade, but it can vary based on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
