There's no one like you and that's why there's nowhere like RSM.The primary function of the Consulting Operations Associate is providing specialized support to the assigned leadership team in areas associated with the client delivery life cycle. In this capacity the CS Operations Associate will provide support to leadership with planning, coordination and execution of all aspects of assigned projects through the project life cycle. Working with assigned leadership, this position is also responsible for facilitating the creation, revision, and implementation of practice and / or regional-specific processes and policies. The CS Operations Associate will also support regional and / or practice leadership with leadership team meetings, and, in conjunction with leadership, support the execution of strategic or tactical initiatives.Essential Duties:

Provide assistance for time-sensitive and proprietary tasks for Assigned Leadership team members as requested.

Work with leadership to coordinate risk mitigation, process improvement, communication, and support needs affecting the successful delivery of client solutions.

In conjunction with assigned consulting leadership, develop leadership meeting objectives and agendas, document meeting outcomes, and follow up on related action items

Assist assigned leadership with ongoing support of practice management reports, staffing processes

Leveraging knowledge of assigned practice, support leadership in execution of strategic or tactical imperatives

Start to develop an understanding of solution offerings and relationships with supporting leadership. Liaise with internal organizations (human resources, finance, marketing, sales) to develop, implement and maintain efficient and effective support processes in support of leadership imperatives

Be a resource to CS admins across region, fielding questions about standards and compliant practices (contracts, independence considerations, e.g.) liaising with inter-regional counterparts to share best practices, promoting efficiency and standardization

In conjunction with assigned leadership, support the definition of project scope and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Support leadership to manage project objectives, schedule, resources and deliverables.

Create and update project plans

Working with assigned leadership oversee response to and resolution of troubled initiatives on an as-needed basis

Provide oversight and advocacy for the effective efficient use of internal systems

Other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications

Experience:

1-3 years relevant experience (preferred)

Experience managing multiple projects of low to moderate risk

Education:

Bachelor's degree in business or technology related area or equivalent experience

PMP Certification (preferred)

Technical/Soft Skills:

Strong Microsoft Office skills including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook

Strong communication skills both written and verbal

Ability to prepare presentations including charts, graphics and tables, speaker notes & handouts, etc.

Advanced Microsoft Office skills, preferred

Leadership Skills:
