Provide administrative and clinical management support as an Office Coordinator at CHOP. We are focused on attracting, cultivating, and retaining diverse talent who can help us deliver on our mission to be a world leader in the advancement of healthcare for children.We strongly encourage all candidates of diverse backgrounds and lived experiences to apply.ResponsibilitiesAssist with patient services, including appointment scheduling, check-outs, and documentation.Triage calls and respond to inquiries.Manage records (charts, files, correspondences).Help maintain systems, record-keeping and reporting methods, and procedures.Provide administrative support for meetings, interviews, committees, and conferences.Prepare presentations, letters, reports, memoranda, and related materials.Manage office supplies for the department.Assist new hires and provide employee support, including timekeeping.Other duties and administrative support projects as required.EducationRequired:High school diploma/GEDExperiencePreferred:At least three (3) years of administrative support in an academic, scientific, or office settingSkills and AbilitiesBasic knowledge of medical terminology, protocols, and HIPAA regulationsIntermediate proficiency with electronic medical record software (EPIC)Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft OfficeExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal, organizational, time management, and conflict resolution skillsChildren's Hospital of Philadelphia is an equal opportunity employer.
