Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Software Engineer in the telecom industry. The role will be based in PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania, United States. The Sr. Software Engineer will work closely with architects, developers, and business partners to develop applications and UI components using a variety of technologies. They will also be responsible for business analysis, developing prototypes, and creating conceptual data models for database interaction.Responsibilities: Collaborate with architects, developers, and business partners to develop enterprise applications Develop UI components using a variety of Microsoft technologies including .NET, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, etc. Conduct business analysis and requirements analysis with the help of end-users Develop prototypes and architectures for new concepts and technologies Create conceptual data models for database interaction Implement and provide support for higher and lower-level environments Develop sophisticated web-based user interfaces Engage in full life-cycle development in an enterprise development environment Use relational database for development, preferably using Oracle or SQL Server Exhibit excellent communication, negotiation, decision making, and problem-solving skills. Requirements Exceptional proficiency in JavaScript, SQL, Oracle, HTML, CSS, .NET and other programming languages Extensive experience in database management and workstation support Demonstrated ability to implement strategies and make informed decisions Proficiency in Agile Scrum methodology Experience with SQL Server and business analysis Knowledge of libraries and frameworks relevant to the software development process Excellent communication and negotiation skills Ability to create and test prototypes Experience in optimizing software systems for efficiency Demonstrated ability to work effectively with business partners Understanding of wireless technologies and video software Proven authorizations and security management skills Familiarity with software engineering processes and methodologies Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
