Job DescriptionA Fortune 500 client, within the Food/Beverage and Hospitality industry, is seeking a Software Project Manager to join their team remotely. He/she will be a part of a major program, contributing to projects for modernizing their existing e-Commerce solutions and Mobile capabilities; menu management, mobile ordering, legacy web applications, system integrations, etc. Will be heavily working with 3rd party software vendors, who will be helping in developing these products (i.e. on- AND offshore development resources). Should be familiar with all phases of SDLC, including software testing efforts and quality assurance.Currently building an application that will allow for complex configurations of products that will display and transact with millions of consumers through our mobile, kiosk, point of sale, self-checkout, and digital menu board technologies. We are seeking an experienced Software Project Manager to help us deliver this capability. This Project Manager will be responsible for directing a 3rd party offshore development team, building project plans and managing execution of those project plans, delivering executive stakeholder updates, mitigating risk, maintaining budget, and will also need to "roll up their sleeves".

Experience with Software Project Management

Experience managing 3rd party offshore development teams/resources

Experience with complex projects and mitigation

Experience with stakeholder engagement and executive updates

Experience in software testing/execution-based work within a project

Experience keeping complex projects on time and on budget

Ability to understand complex problems, learn new systems/processes

Self-starter, outside the box thinker, risk mitigation, executor

Works well in a team setting providing team leadership without direct authority

Ability to quickly learn organizational structure to facilitate cross functional activities
