If so, this is a truly exciting opportunity to be an integral leader with the Global Supply Chain Strategy (GSC) team as Global Supply Chain (GSC) Strategy Lead for Analytical Network Strategy.The role of this GSC Strategy Lead for Analytical Network Strategy is to develop and secure comprehensive lifecycle strategies for QC testing of pharmaceuticals for the Network Review, aligning both short and long-term strategic goals, enabling launch and growth through to end of lifecycle, with inherent risk mitigation and cost optimization requirements addressed.Reporting into the GSC Senior Director - Analytical Network Strategy, the GSC Strategy Lead independently develops the strategy for dose forms and/or networks for Pharma, effectively managing risk, cost and other challenges, seeking guidance from the Senior Strategy Lead as necessary. The Strategy Lead makes evidence-based recommendations up to the Analytical SteerCo, providing technical expertise and comprehensive knowledge of the network strategy to influence and guide key stakeholders.The GSC Strategy Lead should demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and technical understanding around analytical testing for pharmaceuticals (small molecules, biologics, sterile manufacture, and devices), strategic decision making, scenario planning, financial analysis, business case development and risk assessment / mitigation planning.You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, operations, MSAT, quality, regulatory, global capital projects and direct procurement, to ensure that our networks meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficacy, while also maximizing customer satisfaction and profitability.At GSK, you will have the opportunity to be part of a focused biopharma company with strong momentum and big ambitions, to unite science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together and an aim to positively impact the health of 2.5 billion people by the end of the decade. Develop and drive the execution of the analytical network strategy across the supply chain, ensuring alignment with GSK quality objectives.
Be accountable for the network review process for Analytical Network Strategy for Pharma, that serves as a direct feed into the consolidated network review, and is conducted annually with the GSC-LT
Through this network review process, understand the challenge and ambition for the dose form, recognizing key risks, issues & sensitivities, and then translate this into a strategy for the network across a 10+ year horizon, considering insights from commercial, R&D and supply chain
Act as the voice of the analytical network in GSC for Pharma. Work closely with GSC Quality, MSAT, R&D and other key stakeholders to align on Quality goals.
For in-flight strategic programs, work with program leads to track progression versus the strategic objective and identify mitigation strategies for issues that arise
Under matrix m nagement, hold individuals to account and takes corrective action where necessary to ensure the achievement of short to medium term objectives
Conduct benchmarking to understand industry standards and best practices, applying insights to enhance our analytical network strategy.
Work at an advanced level to identify potential stakeholders, analyze their expectations, and develop strategies for managing stakeholders and their expectations. Works independently and provides guidance/coaching to others
Drive implementation of the analytical testing principles and strategy into end-to-end supply chain process for Pharma through cross-functional team collaboration.

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
Bachelor's Degree & 4 plus years of Quality Operations, Quality Control and/or Analytical Methods in Pharma
Experience working with senior stakeholders
Technical experience with the development and optimization of QC/Analytical testing in manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability
Ability to travel up to 25%Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
Experience in working with global supply chain network and supply capability as it relates to analytical testing experience in Pharma
Understanding of CMC development and regulatory processes
Understanding of supply chain processes, regulatory constraints, planning and logistics, trade routes and GSK trading arrangements.
Demonstrated ability to deal with complexities involving R&D and supply chain, recognizing key risks, issues & sensitivities to develop thought through scenarios
In-depth knowledge of quality trends and best practices specific to the pharmaceutical supply chain
Demonstrated Commercial awareness and experience.
Understanding financial modelling and business case elements that support decision making.
Ability to act as an effective leader in a complex matrix environment across multiple teams and geographies.
Understanding of risk management and compliance.
Ability to learn quickly in unfamiliar territory and to deal with ambiguity.LI-GSKThe annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $165,000 to $275,000 taking into account a number of factors including work location within the US market, the candidate's skills, experience, education level and the market rate for the role. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program which is dependent on the level of the role.
