Description Robert Half is seeking for a Fund Accountant with some serious spark for our dynamic client located in Philadelphia. This red-hot Fund Accountant role is swarming with intriguing duties like accounting and reporting tasks for client accounts, managing investment income, and working in close cooperation with the investment and client relations squads. The position also demands a tight-knit collaboration with external vendors to guarantee impeccable account and position reconciliation.Responsibilities:

Oversee all client account activities including cash and trading activities.

Ensure accurate allocation of investment income such as dividends and expenses across client accounts.

Manage the client reporting workflow, coordinating with investment and client relations teams.

Monitor and post capital calls, redemptions, subscriptions and distributions on alternative investments in client accounts.

Collaborate closely with third-party vendors to ensure account and position reconciliation on investment positions including non-marketable securities.

Serve as a departmental expert in investment and account reconciliation processing.

Maintain an in-depth understanding of securities and account operations and the functionality within the core systems.

Reconcile Daily Transaction Reports of third-party custodians as needed to the company's accounting system.

Requirements

The ideal Fund Accountant candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education.Other requirements for the Fund Accountant position include and are not limited to:

3+ years of experience in Investment Accounting

Experience with Black Diamond highly preferred

Excellent support skills, ability to work well under pressure, professional demeanor and strong written and oral communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to prioritize work to meet set deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail.
