Payroll/Benefit Manager

Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll/Benefit Manager in Malvern, Pennsylvania. As the Payroll/Benefit Manager involves overseeing payroll processes, benefits management, and human resources tasks in a corporate setting.Responsibilities: Oversee the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new employees Manage employee benefits, ensuring they are administered correctly and efficiently Maintain and organize employee files, ensuring all information is up to date Participate in the recruitment process, assisting in the selection and hiring of new talent Oversee performance management procedures, providing guidance and support to team members Process payroll for up to 80 employees on a monthly basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Handle salaried exempt/non-exempt payroll calculations Manage garnishments, ensuring they are processed correctly Register state taxes and manage related processes Oversee workman’s compensation claims and processes Handle journal entries related to payroll and benefits when requiredRequirements Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems is required Experience with ADP - Financial Services is desirable Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now is a plus Knowledge of Ceridian software is beneficial Ability to perform Data Processing tasks efficiently Proficiency in using About Time software is preferred Strong understanding of Accounting Functions is necessary Experience in Auditing is a key requirement Knowledge of Benefit Functions is important Compliance management skills are essential Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
