The CTC Engineering Division specializes in transforming cutting-edge technologies into real-world solutions. We harness the power of 3D printing, advanced joining techniques like friction stir welding, and cutting-edge design tools to tackle complex challenges for a diverse set of clients.Key Responsibilities:
The duties of this position will involve product design and analysis in support of manufacturing process development. Engineering support for prototype development, testing, evaluation and implementation is required.
Candidate must have a strong background in research and development, mechanical and systems design and analysis, manufacturing processes and equipment development / specification.
The candidate is expected to be a significant contributor to mechanical design and analysis initiatives.
Candidate must have experience and be proficient at communicating, maintaining records and files, and preparing reports and presentations.
Candidate may support a broad base of applications ranging from aircraft, vehicles, armaments, application of advanced materials, custom manufacturing fixtures and equipment, testing services, inspection equipment, system management tools, and other unique one-off solutions.
Candidate will be required to work closely with clients and project teams, interact with vendors, subcontractors.Basic Qualifications:
Candidate must have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, Industrial or Aerospace Engineering with 2-4 years of experience.
Advanced user of Computer Aided Design (CAD) Software such as Creo, Solidworks, etc.
Working knowledge of Finite Element Analysis Software such as ANSYS or ABAQUS
Works well in a team environment
Strong problem solving skills
Demonstrates excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to travel occasionally to support project needsPreferred Qualifications:
The position requires a high degree of technical competence regarding the broad application of engineering principles to the development of new capabilities and/or solutions to customers' challenging problems, while working with an experienced engineering team.
Work experience in the USG Defense or commercial manufacturing industries is preferred.
