We look forward to meeting you!DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a Program Analyst 3, you will serve as a lead analyst for the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR) in the Bureau of Central Operations (BCO), Systems and Evaluation Division, performing advanced technical and professional work in the analysis and evaluation of the federal and state Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) program and related initiatives.This is an opportunity to provide interpretive, advisory, and consultative services for agency leadership, the State Board of Vocational Rehabilitation, the Pennsylvania Rehabilitation Council, OVR District Office management and staff, other governmental agencies, and vocational rehabilitation service providers and facility administrators. This position researches, analyzes, and interprets federal and state laws and regulations for evaluation and reporting requirements relative to OVR. You will serve in a consultative capacity in the development and implementation of agency policy, as well as participate in formulating changes in policies, regulations, and program priorities to ensure compliance and consistency with state and federal requirements.Interested in learning more? Full-time employment

Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, upon completion of the probationary period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

Salary:Most employees will start at the beginning level of the advertised salary

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year as a Program Analyst 2; or

Three years of analytical experience, two of which include professional experience in program evaluation and the development of program recommendations, and a bachelor's degree; or

An equivalent combination of experience and training.Other Requirements:
