The main duty of this position is to support the evaluation, examination, and improvement of maintenance operations in Westmoreland County, following management objectives and department policies. Responsibilities include identifying training needs, developing an annual training plan, creating training reports, and tracking training through success factor. Other duties involve entering training data, scheduling refresher training, coordinating with district training coordinator and instructors for training facilities, and occasionally acting as a training instructor. Additionally, maintaining accurate records of Inormation Technology (IT) devices issued by Westmoreland County, communicating changes to District IT personnel, and managing materials in SAP Plant Maintenance and SRM Systems are part of the role. Lastly, reviewing data from SAP systems, ensuring program goals are achieved, maintaining systems control, and inputting goods receipts into SAP plant maintenance promptly are also key responsibilities.Interested in learning more? Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

Overtime and shift work required. Work hours subject to change based on seasonal requirements

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:One year of experience as a Technical Assistant; or

One year of experience in analysis of data utilized in planning and scheduling of work, materials and equipment and graduation from high school or GED equivalent; or

An Associate's Degree in a field of Business Administration, Computer Science, Highway Engineering Technology or other closely related program; or

Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
