Description We are on the quest for an experienced Cost Accounting Manager to join our team in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. As a part of our team, you will oversee the MTI accounting activities for our North American operations to ensure the availability of accurate and timely financial data, in accordance with GAAP. You will also lend your support to the business by maintaining the inventory items and related costing within Oracle.Responsibilities: Perform month-end cost accounting close entries, accruals, and analysis. Maintain the Oracle product master files and create/update production formulas. Assist in preparing the annual standard cost budget and forecasts. Handle monthly account reconciliations and perform Balance Sheet reviews with management. Prepare various monthly decision management reports. Analyze production costs, investigate unusual costs, and ensure proper procedures are being followed. Showcase expertise in preparing detailed business process and cost analysis. Supervise and manage Cost Accounting staff, if applicable. Stay familiar with new technologies to the extent needed to assist the business in enabling these new technologies. Assist in review and development of Oracle/ADI/Discoverer/HFM reports to support management.Skills: Proficiency in Oracle. Experience in Manufacturing Cost Accounting. Knowledge in Cost Accounting. Familiarity with Standard Cost Accounting. Understanding of SOX - Sarbanes-Oxley. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Cost Accounting Manager role or similar position Proficiency in Oracle Extensive knowledge of Manufacturing Cost Accounting Understanding and application of Cost Accounting principles Familiarity with Standard Cost Accounting Experience with SOX - Sarbanes-Oxley compliance Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's degree preferred) Excellent analytical and decision-making skills Strong communication and presentation skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint Strong organizational and time management skills.
