Join us is making a positive impact in the lives of others, apply today!DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a County Fiscal Officer 2, you will assist the agency administrator with major operational decisions concerning the Fiscal Department, in addition to developing processes and protocols to assist the administrator with agency functions to benefit state regulations, county policy, and BCCYS policy. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with the administrator throughout the performance of various duties and advise on any fiscal matters relating to the agency.Work involves developing or assisting the state, federal, and local governmental agencies to maintain the yearly budget for Beaver County. You will maintain complex fiscal accounting rules and regulations, receipts, and expenditures, and review and assist with program funded and fee-for-service provider agencies. This professional takes responsibility for conducting the IV-E audits as well as Attorney General audits of finances. You will maintain cost allocation plans, time studies for the state, fiscal and accounting records and requirements, and ensure payroll functions for time and attendance, pay information, and overtime records are up to date and in compliance with policy.Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment

Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.

Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year as a County Fiscal Officer 1; or

Two years of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business-related bachelor's degree that includes six college credits in accounting; or

Four years of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business-related associate's degree that includes six college credits in accounting; or

An equivalent combination of experience and training which includes or is supplemented by six college credits in accounting.Other Requirements:
