Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Diesel repair, customer service, and the ability to work on a variety of diesel vehicles and equipment.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
- Diagnose and repair diesel engine malfunctions and issues
- Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety standards
- Weld and fabricate parts as needed for repairs
- Work on a variety of diesel vehicles such as tractor-trailers and heavy equipment
- Perform air brake and brake repair tasks
Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in automotive repair with a focus on diesel engines
- Strong customer service skills when interacting with clients or dealership personnel
- Ability to weld and fabricate parts for repairs
- Experience working with tractor-trailers and heavy equipment
- Knowledge of air brake systems and brake repair techniques
