We are seeking applicants with a record of working safely and experience as a heavy diesel mechanic. Individual needs to be able to work in a team environment and possess a strong work ethic. Position will require travel throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Job Responsibilities
Perform minor and major repairs on vehicles, trailers, and construction equipment.
Conduct regular preventative maintenance on trucks, excavators, cranes, dozers, forklifts, rollers, etc. Including inspection, tire rotation, oil changes, and other services as needed.
Maintain parts inventory and cleanliness in the shop.
Perform regular diagnostic tests on vehicles, heavy duty trucks, and equipment.
Maintain accurate records of each repair or maintenance task performed on vehicles and equipment.
Operate customary hand or power tools used for mechanical repairs.
Qualifications & Skills
Previous Diesel Mechanic experience.
Must possess a valid drivers license and good driver record.
Ability to stand, bend, squat and maneuver around and under equipment.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
ASE Diesel Certification a plus.
Required education: High school or equivalent.
