Fries Vineyards LLC, a well-established vineyard ownership company located in Salem, Oregon, is seeking a versatile and highly-organized bookkeeper and personal assistant to perform administrative duties on a part-time basis.
In this role, you will be responsible for business finances, payroll, and communication. You will also assist with miscellaneous personal administrative tasks to the owner.
Skills:
- Proficient with QuickBooks.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and other software applications.
- Strong communication skills - written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision, yet willing to accept and follow instructions.
- Ability to organize and prioritize effectively. Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping practices, procedures, and principals.
Duties:
- Organize and maintain files and records, both electronic and physical
- Record day-to-day financial transactions.
- Enter data, maintain records, and create reports and financial statements.
- Bank reconciliation. Process accounts receivable/payable.
- Responsible for entering timecard data, entering employee information into ‘Paychex’ online system and administering payroll.
- Working with an accountant when necessary.
- Collecting and processing mail- Provide administrative support to the owner and perform general office tasks.
Schedule: 6-7 hours bi-weekly, payroll is administered on Mondays. Work is on site in south Salem.
