Kytola & Luscombe Corp. is looking to add another Diesel Truck/Equipment Mechanic to our shop. They would be responsible for repairing and maintaining Dump Trucks, Trailers, Lowboys and some of our Heavy Equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform Routine and preventative maintenance service on all equipment
- Communicate with Shop Manager/Lead Mechanic on repairs needed.
- Troubleshoot breakdowns and advise/repair as needed.
- Repair, adjust or replace worn and damaged parts as needed.
- Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests to troubleshoot issues and ensure vehicle in proper operating condition.
- Verify vehicle/equipment performance by conducting test drives and adjusting controls and systems as needed.
- Maintain safe and organized work area.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must pass and maintain a negative drug test.
- Valid Drivers License.
- Must have own set of tools.
- Must work and communicate well with others.
- Knowledge of CAT, Cummins, and Heavy Equipment Parts.
- Welding and Fabrication experience preferred.
- Be able to work overtime, including some Saturdays.
- Willing to work early swing shift hours.
- Minimum of 3 years experience is preferred.
