Kytola & Luscombe Corp. is looking to add another Diesel Truck/Equipment Mechanic to our shop. They would be responsible for repairing and maintaining Dump Trucks, Trailers, Lowboys and some of our Heavy Equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Perform Routine and preventative maintenance service on all equipment.
-Communicate with Shop Manager/Lead Mechanic on repairs needed.
-Troubleshoot breakdowns and advise/repair as needed.
-Repair, adjust or replace worn and damaged parts as needed.
-Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests to troubleshoot issues and ensure vehicle in proper operating condition.
-Verify vehicle/equipment performance by conducting test drives and adjusting controls and systems as needed.
-Maintain safe and organized work area.
Required Qualifications:
-Must be at least 18 years of age.
-Must pass and maintain a negative drug test.
-Valid Drivers License.
-Must have own set of tools.
-Must work and communicate well with others.
-Knowledge of CAT, Cummins, and Heavy Equipment Parts.
-Welding and Fabrication experience preferred.
-Be able to work overtime, including some Saturdays.
-Willing to work early swing shift hours.
-Minimum of 3 years experience is preferred.
