Title: Maintenance & Equipment Manager | Location: Clackamas, Oregon | Pay: $65,000.00 - $69,000.00 / Annual.
Shift: Monday – Friday | Day shift | On call

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and delegate projects for the maintenance facility and personnel.
Attend and participate in meetings as well as manager coaching for performance (C4P) with direct reports.
Work with building property managers to uphold quality shop conditions.
Build professional relationships and business with customers and vendors both internal and external and negotiate contracts.
Build and oversee trailer maintenance program with vendors like Thermo King, Penske, etc.
Manage the Tire Program. Negotiate prices, monitor the wear, work with vendors, inventory, order.
Coordinate and manage for on and off-road tractor preventive maintenance, tractor and trailer emergency breakdowns, repairs, and equipment assignment.
Diagnose, document, and resolve all equipment issues in a timely manner.
Maintain maintenance and repair orders in TruckMate software.
Perform inventory control, order shop supplies, enter shop-related purchase orders, review invoices and challenge any overages/charges as needed.
Provide training for installation and removal of PeopleNet and IBright units
Obtain rental and subunits as needed.
Qualifications Required:
Knowledge of trailer repairs and heavy equipment transportation experience.
3 + years of direct industry-related management or supervisory experience required.
Ability to self-direct activities and effectively supervise others
Leadership and employee development skills.
Excellent planning, organization, communication, and analytic skills.
Ability to work flexible hours; including weekend and after hours work as required.
Must have Microsoft office experience (Word, Excel, Outlook)
