About the job Delivery & Installation Area Field Manager Allegro Home Delivery is a fast-growing company in the last mile home delivery market looking for Delivery & Installation Area Field Managers to grow with us; we have 50% growth YOY three years running! Primary Role: You will be responsible for the overall operations and supervision of our fulfillment teams, ensuring timely deliveries of appliances, furniture, and other large-scale consumer items. You will also play a key role in maintaining our customers’ expectations to ensure customer orders are delivered at the right time and to the right location. This is a working Manager position. Responsibilities: Manage crews and direct drivers, ensuring loads are completed and loaded accurately and in a timely manner, support throughout the day to ensure excellence Deliver and install large products including furniture and appliances in a retail environment Recruit new employee and IC teams as needed Facilitate training to ensure employees understand and utilize the procedures that will lead to maximized productivity, accuracy, and safety Support, mentor, and motivate your teams Communicate efficiently with other departments to ensure a successful operation Solve problems in the moment Act as our main point of contact for escalations and claims in the field Daily validation of teams Qualifications: Experience delivering and installing large products including appliances and furniture Experience managing teams during loadout and throughout the day Recruiting and training new teams experience Experience working in a logistics or fulfillment environment Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting customer requirements and deadlines Strong leadership skills Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Demonstrated problem solving skills and analytical skills Able to collaborate with associates, leads, supervisors, independent contractors, drivers, and management Open availability for work Mon-Sat Benefits: We are eager to attract the best, so we offer competitive compensation and a generous benefits package, including full health insurance (medical, dental and vision), 401(k), 401(k) match, life insurance, paid holidays and PTO, disability, and career development opportunities.
