Job Title: Restoration Lead Technician

Position Overview:
SERVPRO of Southeast Portland is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restoration Lead Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading restoration projects, supervising technicians, and ensuring high-quality service in water, fire, mold, and storm damage mitigation and restoration. You will play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining SERVPRO's reputation for excellence in property restoration.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and execute restoration projects from start to finish, including water extraction, drying, fire damage cleanup, mold remediation, and contents cleaning.
Supervise and train crew members to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality standards are met.
Communicate effectively with property owners, insurance adjusters, and team members to keep all parties informed throughout the restoration process.
Set up, monitor, and adjust equipment such as air movers, dehumidifiers, and other drying tools.
Complete detailed documentation of job site activities, including daily moisture readings, photos, and job notes using SERVPRO software (e.g., DryBook).
Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations, SERVPRO protocols, and IICRC standards.
Perform demolition and cleanup as necessary.
Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles in clean and operational condition.
Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency after-hours response.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years of experience in restoration or construction (required)
IICRC Certifications (WRT, ASD, etc.) preferred or willing to obtain
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in confined spaces, and handle physically demanding tasks
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required)
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Fluency in English is essential for understanding safety procedures, completing documentation, and interacting with clients.
