The Senior Facilities Maintenance Technician will provide facilities related support to all locations within the Planned Parenthood of the Columbia Willamette affiliate. This position is responsible for performing and/or coordinating maintenance, repair, and replacement of all furniture, fixtures, and equipment, including medical equipment and building systems for all locations operated by the affiliate. Coordinating major activities with the Facilities Manager, the Senior Facilities Maintenance Technician will prioritize, oversee and coordinate a wide range of facility issues. This position is based in Northeast Portland, OR but is expected to maintain facilities throughout our affiliate including Vancouver (WA), Beaverton, Milwaukie, Salem, Bend and Ontario, OR. Reliable transportation required, travel frequency and reimbursement will be discussed in the interview process.
Compensation: Starting rate of pay is $25.02 - $36.45 hourly depending upon experience. Annual step increases are determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Five (5) years of facilities maintenance or equivalent experience, including working knowledge of building critical systems and some specialized trades skills with: carpentry, light plumbing, light electrical and mechanical abilities.
Demonstrated experience working independently, with limited direct supervision and simultaneously manage multiple affiliate wide issues.
Experience in customer service and ability to adapt to changes.
Experience in the use and operation of wide range tools.
Willingness to learn more about and train on topics that may include, but are not limited to health equity, racial justice, reproductive justice, cultural humility, and trauma-informed care.
Willingness to contribute to an inclusive work environment by using trauma-informed principles in interactions with coworkers, patients, donors, volunteers, and community partners.
