Local Contractor is looking for a Project Foreman. Duties for this position would include:
Working with the Contractor and Crew to keep realistic timelines and schedules
Working with Subcontractors as to scheduling and managing progress
Providing material takeoffs from Plans and Scopes of Work, communicate these to suppliers, and arrange pickup/delivery to job sites
Communicating with clients and manage client expectations
Taking up the slack when the crew is overwhelmed with work with the occasion dump run, delivery, pickup, demo, punch list, etc
Assisting the Contractor as needed with his work
Making everyone's job easier
Learning something new every day to gain a better understanding of the Construction Progress and the way we do it
An ideal candidate:

Has journeyman level understanding of residential remodels and process
Is computer literate, especially with Google Drive, Docs, and Sheets
Can become fluent in mobile apps for timesheets and photos at jobs sites
Is interested in learning new skills, new software and new processes
Is a good listener, a good communicator and knows when to stop talking
Is self-motivated
Is a thoughtful team player
Has foresight and can anticipate upcoming needs, schedules, and support needed for the Crew
Is clean, organized and super cool

A little about us: We are a Construction Company specializing in cool, creative projects. Full Remodels, Kitchens, Baths, Decks, Tasting Rooms, Off-grid Cabins, New Construction. Most of our work is in the area from Bethany to North Plains, but also Beaverton, Tigard, Lake Oswego, and Newberg. Along with site work, we have a full woodworking shop and also take on projects for our clients such as custom cabinets, built-ins and garden structures. We run a sawmill and produce beams, posts, and slabs for clients. We are fishermen, mechanics, woodturners, hikers, musicians, artists, sawyers, loggers, readers, and writers.
