Job description
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage construction projects from start to finish
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors and suppliers
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets
- Oversee quality control and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders
- Provide leadership and guidance to construction crews
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members
- Ability to supervise and lead construction crews effectively
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality control and adherence to building codes
- Problem-solving skills to address any issues or challenges that arise during the project
