Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to our accounting department, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Assist with daily accounting operations, data entry, and filing.
Maintain accurate records and files related to project progress and documentation.
Provide clerical support, including data entry and filing, using Microsoft Suite, Foundation, Quickbooks and other office software.
Communicate effectively with team members and subcontractors, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
Support the front desk operations when needed, greeting visitors, answering phones and managing inquiries.
Light office cleaning.
Experience
Previous experience in a similar environment is preferred but not required.
Strong computer literacy skills.
Experience in clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and office organization is beneficial.
Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
A willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various tasks as needed within the construction field.
