CCS is headquartered in Portland, Oregon and has approximately 50 employees.
The Human Resource & Office Manager will be in-office three days a week and can be remote the other two.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources:
Take a leading role in the further development of a healthy and supportive company culture; we believe that by centering our coworkers, we can deliver the best experience for our customers; your work will be vital to our focused efforts to continuously improve the coworker experience.
Manage payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Administer coworker benefits, including insurance, 401(k), and other company offerings.
Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth integration into the company culture.
Maintain employee records and handle confidential information with discretion.
Address coworker inquiries regarding HR policies and benefits.
Assist with coworker relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws.
Office Management:
Handle general office duties, such as ordering supplies, maintaining office equipment, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
Coordinate office maintenance and look for opportunities to improve the office and warehouse environments.
Plan and coordinate company events, meetings, and other gatherings.
Arrange travel for coworkers as needed.
Manage relationships with vendors and service providers, including handling communications, onboarding new vendors and the occasional bill pay.
Miscellaneous projects.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in HR management and office administration.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
Experience in vendor management is a plus.
