For over 40 years, our courier company has been ensuring documents and small packages get where they need to go on time. We are a small business with 14 employees currently. We are looking for an "all rounder" who will take us to the next level. This position will be at our office. Please write"dispatch" as the subject of your email. Job Duties will include:
Answering incoming phone calls quickly & professionally
Interacting politely & efficiently with Customers
Relaying job details to drivers via dispatch software(3 drivers. The rest of our employees do the same daily routes and don't need help dispatching their work)
Managing our social media outlets( facebook and instagram once a week)
Sending out monthly newsletters to our customers
Getting orders ready at specific times and meeting strict deadlines
Run the office unsupervised when office manager is absent
Managing jobs from start to finish to ensure successful job closure
Ability to work 8:30am-5:00pm
Tuesday to Friday(Saturdays 11-4:30pm)

Job Requirements:
Must have at least 2 verifiable years of dispatch experience
Must be able to use excel, word, outlook
Superior multi-tasker with attention to detail
Works well under pressure in fast-paced environment
Excellent phone & customer service skills
Is always on time
Entering and assigning jobs through our dispatch system to drivers in the field
Positive attitude always preferred
Age 21 and over
Must have valid driver’s license
-Clean driving record (for example, no more than 1 driving citations in the past 3 years)
-Ability to commit to a specific work schedule, and to provide regular, reliable attendance
-Ability to follow processes, procedures, and policies of Custom Courier and its affiliates
-Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated
-Good customer service skills required
