POSITION DESCRIPTION
IHI is looking for a dedicated professional to help hire, onboard, train, and support its Resident Services Team. Our portfolio includes workforce housing, family housing, and low-barrier housing for adults with special needs. This position reports directly to the Director of Resident Services and will work closely with each RS Team member.
Job duties include:
Supporting an expert team of Resident Service Coordinators, individually and collectively, using an anti-racist, trauma informed lens
Onboarding/training new RS team members, facilitating ongoing skill building through internal and external trainings, and coordinating professional development opportunities
Understanding each of IHI’s affordable communities and providing tailored/targeted support to Service Coordinators to ensure successful interaction with and outcomes for residents
Helping Resident Service Coordinators develop programs and equitably deliver culturally responsive services that are resident centered, driven, and informed
Providing technical support to RS Team members around the RS database system, expense reports, newsletters, site plans, etc.
Assisting with developing and maintaining service partner relationships
Helping coordinate/maintain shared RS resources
Assisting with community meetings, community events, new initiatives, and Placekeeping projects
QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of basic clinical practices including Trauma Informed Care
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Local social service experience working with diverse, low-income and high-risk populations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and competency in Excel
- Demonstrated ability to work with teams, solve problems, and achieve targeted outcomes
- Ability to interact professionally with co-workers, clients, outside agencies and other stakeholders
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy
- Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
