At Ultimizers, we believe that in order to be a successful Engineer, there needs to be a solid base of how our machinery is built, as well as how it works. With that said your journey to becoming an Engineer starts with spending time on our factory floor learning how to use all of the machinery we have at our disposal. This involves spending time on our CNC Mills and CNC Lathes. The next step is spending time in assembly and seeing all the parts created in the machines listed above as well as frame weldments and drive systems come together to create woodworking machinery that is shipped all over the world. This solid foundation in the factory will help build the toolbox needed to help push our designs and ideas forward into the future.
We are seeking someone with good to excellent mechanical skills who is also very comfortable with computers and current technology. The role will involve travel once trained to install and service machinery. As a small company, we all wear many hats, so the role will also require electrical work troubleshooting and designing control systems as well as learning and contributing to the PLC ladder logic that controls the machines we design.
We have developed the majority of our machine controls and other software using C. However, general logic and programming skills are more important to us than experience in any particular language.
