In addition to providing coated and uncoated liquid packaging board, they are proud to now offer customers some of the world’s highest-quality market pulp and are looking for a qualified ProcessEngineer to join their team!

What You Will Be Doing as a Process Engineer:

As a Process Engineer, you will be overseeing, analyzing, and optimizingthe pulp and paper manufacturing processes with a focus of continuous improvement to increase reliability, safety, and process improvements for the pulp, paper, and fiber lines

Develop plans and lead efforts to achieve cost effective operations

Evaluate, select, and apply engineering standards, proven techniques, procedures and criteria to meet project objectives.

Inspect and evaluate the condition of specific process equipment.

Troubleshoot processes and equipment, determine root cause of problems and develop corrective action plans

Support area operators through technical trainings and developments including certification of operational competencies

What You Bring To The Table:

Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering or Pulp and Paper Technology (DOE, a degree MAY not be required, please do still apply)

Internship or work experience in the Pulp and Paper Industry is a +

Experience with boilers, steam turbines, and Power/Recovery processes preferred.

Ability to work with operators, management, suppliers and customers on a daily basis

Strong communication and computer skills, team building and technical skills

Must be able to work independently and handle multiple projects at once - Multi-tasking and organization are critical in this role
