Legal Assistant/Paralegal for The Tilden Law Firm
Location: Downtown Vancouver
Busy boutique law firm specializing in Adoption & Assisted Reproduction Technology needs an experienced legal assistant who wants to work in a practice area making a positive impact in people’s lives. This position will be approximately 30+ hours a week.

Your role will be multifaceted, requiring you to seamlessly shift between various tasks throughout the day. From drafting documents to handling client interactions, your days will rarely be the same. An ideal candidate will have exceptional computer skills, the ability to manage work independently, standing attention to detail, and a desire to learn and grow professionally.

Duties:
Assist in drafting documents and pleadings, requiring excellent verbal and written communication skills.
E-file pleadings and motions, requiring knowledge of superior court filing requirements and procedures.
Organize workflow to meet deadlines, requiring superior organizational skills.
Answer phones and coordinate client communications with attorney.
Maintain attorney’s calendar by planning and scheduling meetings, teleconferences, court appearances and tracking case deadlines.
Provide varied administrative support as needed.
Key Requirements:
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a law firm setting
High level of computer competency in the Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with document management systems
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently and accurately
Ability to handle client interactions with grace and professionalism
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and urgent client needs
