HPH is now accepting resumes for an experienced Human Resource and Payroll Specialist to join our team of passionate and energetic employees.
Minimum Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of Human Resource and Payroll work experience. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree from a fully accredited institution. Experience working in a fast-pace, high-volume construction industry environment a plus. Proficiency in Quickbooks and Google Documents preferred.

Job Duties
Payroll Specialist
Process and manage payroll input in support of Company's third party payroll service to ensure employees receive the correct compensation in a timely manner.
Prepare Payroll Input data that includes, hourly, overtime, salary, piecework, sales commissions with attention to multi-state item and class assignments.
Calculate commissions. Calculate monthly bonuses. Adjusts commissions based on job change orders. Works with sales staff to clarify project scope.
Account for commission chargebacks, payroll corrections, employee cash advance reimbursements, marketing spiffs.
Manage TSheets and work with department managers to approve employee time.
Keep all payroll related information strictly confidential, as the Payroll Specialist is trusted with sensitive employee information.
Human Resource Specialist
Execute Company Human Resource policy in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Attend professional HR training to keep current with state and federal regulations.
Prepare job descriptions. Advertise job posting online. Receive and score resumes. Set up interviews with hiring manager.
Help guide new employees through the hiring process.Process new hire/welcome packets.
Manage employee personnel files and and exit employee termination.
Manage Tsheets for new employees and terminated employees.
Respond to wage/employment verifications and DSHS & ESD information requests
Enter new employees into Quickbooks.
Manage WA ESD unemployment requests, L&I Injury Claims, Unemployment Claims and Child Support.
Process employee garnishments and child support. Make garnishment and child support payments.
Maintain employee and Company confidentiality. Keep all payroll related information strictly confidential, as the Human Resource Specialist is trusted with sensitive employee information.
