Medication Tech/Caregiver Positions
Shift Type: Full Time, Part Time and on call
Shift: Morning, Evening and Night
Wage:
$18-$21/hour DOE
Full-Time and Part Time
Caregivers are responsible for:
-Provide direct care to residents with utmost respect and dignity
-Uphold a safe home-like setting. This includes assisting our seniors with activities of daily living
-Assist clients with ambulation and mobility
-Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
-Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
-Be a pleasant and supportive companion
-Assist in the dinning room and assist with feeing if needed
-Report any unusual incidents
-Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
-Performs other duties as assigned
Med-Tech responsibilities are:
-Administering Medications/Treatments and document in EMR.
-Daily charting and prompt responses to call lights.
-Ability to answer questions with family members regarding their loved one’s medications, health, and wellbeing.
-Professionalism is a must.
-Input medication orders into EMS.
-Document and communicate resident changes and complete all reports in a timely manner
-Maintain confidentiality of all resident care in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
-Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
-Must be at least 18 years old
-Must have or obtain First Aid and CPR Certification within 30-days of employment
-Must have or obtain a Food Handlers Card within 30 days of employment
-Knowledge and experience caring for and interacting with elders
-Ability to pass criminal background and drug test
