Companion Caregiver

Companion Caregiver wanted for upbeat, active woman in wheelchair. A little more about me: I have cerebral palsy and use a Sara Steady to transfer from my wheelchair to the bathroom, bed, and pool chair.
I have asthma, but only when I’m sick or around smoke; therefore we don’t allow smoking on the job.
I see relatively well but have limited vision in my right eye, so you may have to help with depth perception. Most important, I’m deathly allergic to peanuts.
I also choose not to eat most nuts, but can have almonds and walnuts from my house. Should you bring these foods for your own self, please wash your hands before helping me.
Household chores include:
cleaning up after meals
bringing laundry up from basement and putting it away
restocking supplies as needed
Run dishwasher as needed, etc.
Now that the business is out of the way, I enjoy the outdoors, swimming, fishing, making hats, painting, and laughing at corny jokes. I have a great sense of humor and hope that you do, too.
Although most of the time my schedule is pretty fixed, there are opportunities to fill in other days besides the schedule listed above. Please let me know if you are interested, so I can know what to expect from our partnership.I would let you know ahead of time of opportunities for additional hours. Should you need time off please notify my mom and I two weeks in advance of absence.
Pay is $21.75 an hour plus SAIF
You will receive a w-2
You will receive a check and are expected to deposit it as soon as possible
There is one Friday I will be gone on vacation. That day is Friday, July 12.
Ideally when applying you will be asked to provide copies of:
CPR/ First aid cards
Drivers licence
Drivers insurance
A resume and references
