PM Sushi Manager
Origami Catering is a Portland-based company that provides grab & go sushi to local grocery markets, hospitals, and corporate dining. Our mission is to create exciting solutions with food. We are looking for a Production Manager to help lead the night team at our central kitchen.

Position: F/T PM Production Manager
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00/hr
Status: 4-5 days per week; 35-45 hours/week
Work Hours: 4:00pm1:00am

Job Duties:
Oversee all aspects of sushi production shift
Lead, coach, train, and discipline employees
Create work schedule
Maintain clean kitchen workstations, equipment, tools, and utensils
Ensure food quality and efficient production flow
Roll, cut, and package sushi and related products in compliance with Origami standards
Stock food items and organize inventory
Adhere to company, state, and local food safety regulations
Foster a positive, friendly working environment.
Qualifications:
3+ years food production experience
1+ years in a leadership position
English/Spanish bilingual preferred
Food safety knowledge
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to learn and thrive in a fast paced environment
Working knowledge of MS Excel and general computer skills
Can lift 40 pounds frequently and stand for 8 hours
Jewelry and artificial nails are not allowed in the kitchen during production.
Beard/hairnets are worn during production.
