If you're looking for a team that values your input and gives you room to grow, this is your next step.What You'll Be DoingPrepare a variety of food items including meats, poultry, seafood, vegetables, and cold foods.Checks and controls the proper storage of products, monitoring age and condition of all food items to rotate and maintain highest quality. Heavy emphasis on stocks sauces and working sauté station.Good working knowledge of pantry fundamentals and cold food preparation techniques.Good working knowledge of accepted standards of sanitation.Familiarity with refrigeration equipment and safe storage practices.Culinary or Apprenticeship program preferredBasic mathematical skills are necessary to understand recipes, measurements, requisition amounts and portion sizes.Minimum formal education of a high school diplomaAny combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilitiesPreferred prior resort and restaurant cooking experience in a high-volume kitchen or resort setting.Additional language ability is preferred.Physical RequirementsMajority of daily tasks involve standing, hearing, talking, smelling, tasting, near vision, walking, grasping, and far vision.Occasionally required to climb stairs, crouch/bend/stoop, reach, push/pull, and lift or carry up to 50+ lbs.Must be able to work in confined spaces and tolerate exposure to extreme temperatures.PI274333864 Apply
