Stat Team, Inc. is a nation-wide staffing agency seeking reliable, professional staff to administer surveys to riders on TriMet/MAX from April 1 - April 8, 2024.
We are especially seeking bilingual staff who can communicate fluently in both English and Spanish.
POSITION TITLE: Surveyor
JOB DESCRIPTION: Surveyors will conduct a brief survey with riders to gather data regarding their transit use and additional demographic data. Most survey questions are multiple choice. The survey will take five minutes to complete. Data will be collected using a tablet (provided by the client).
REPORT LOCATIONS: Various rail and bus stations in the Portland area.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be punctual, professional and reliable.
Must be friendly, approachable and able to communicate effectively with strangers (Bus/Rail Passengers).
Must be a regular user of smart phones/tablets.
Must be able to stand on your feet on board a moving vehicle for up to 8 hours.
Must be able to provide valid ID to fulfil I-9 requirements.
MANDATORY PAID TRAINING: Monday, April 1, 2024 – 11:00AM-12:30 PM (TriMet Administrative Offices)
SCHEDULE:
Monday April 1
Training: 11:00am - 12:30pm
Surveying: 1:00pm - 6:00pm
Tuesday April 2
Surveying: 10:00am – 5:00pm
Wednesday April 3
Surveying: 9:00am – 4:00pm
Thursday April 4
Surveying: 12:00pm – 7:00pm
Friday April 5
Surveying: 10:00am – 5:00pm
Saturday April 6
Surveying: 11:00am – 6:00pm
Sunday April 7
Surveying: 11:00am – 4:00pm
Monday April 8 - 10
Surveying: TBD
Staff should be available to work all shifts.
PAY: Pay is $25.00 per hour ($28.00 per hour for bilingual staff who are FLUENT IN BOTH English and Spanish). We pay weekly via direct deposit (W-2 position).
