Description Jamie Benway with Robert Half is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in PORTLAND, Oregon. The role will involve managing accounting functions, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, and conducting audits to ensure compliance and accuracy in our financial operations. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is detail-oriented and highly organized.Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all general accounting functions including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and auditing. Ensure accurate and timely processing of accounting data. Monitor customer accounts for timely payments, ensuring all outstanding invoices are paid. Perform regular, detailed audits to ensure accuracy in financial documents, expenditures and investments. Drive and manage financial forecasting and planning processes. Develop and maintain systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting certain financial information. Manage company's financial accounting, monitor, and report systems. Identify process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency. Ensure compliance with all internal processes. Job Order: 03600-0013056856Requirements Proficient in managing all aspects of accounting functions Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Familiarity with auditing processes and procedures Ability to lead a team of accountants and supervise their work Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA) is preferred Strong knowledge of financial regulations and legislation Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within the accounting sector.
