118107BRJob Title:Transportation ManagerLocation:Performance Pacific NW (1017)Job Description:We are looking for a Transportation Manager to join our team!The person in this position will manage all aspects of the transportation function in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment, including selection of qualified drivers, routing, driving, safety, unloading, fleet maintenance, customer/driver relationships, and Department of Transportation (DOT) and Operating Company (OpCo) compliance.Below is a summary of duties:

Involvement with the driver selection and orientation process, handling employee relations issues including disciplinary action, monitoring DOT and Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) compliance

Managing Transportation Supervisors

Monitoring the routing process to ensure customer satisfaction.

Prepares annual transportation operating budget; performs cost analyses (e.g., truck leases, fuel consumption, etc.) and coordinates financial reporting.

Oversees day-to-day administration of delivery function

Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.
