Clark Regional Wastewater District is seeking an experienced Engineering Technician!
Ideal candidate will have the following:
o Associate Degree or Certificate in Civil Engineering Technology or similar field.
o Three years of relevant civil engineering experience. One year of directly related experience in development projects.
o Proficiency in CAD, GIS, and Bluebeam preferred.
o Understand and interpret District standard specifications and details for design and construction of sanitary sewers, including pumping stations.
o Understand and interpret WSDOT Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge, and Municipal Construction.
o Understand construction documentation and processes.
o Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.
o Ability to read, interpret, understand, apply, and enforce construction plan requirements and District Design standards.
o Ability to apply mathematics to interpret data from record drawings, construction drawings, and maps.
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
o Ability to communicate technical information and processes to non-technical audiences.
o Ability to effectively communicate with the public, co-workers, supervisors and subordinates.
o Read, interpret, apply, and explain relevant federal, state, and local laws, codes, regulations, policies, procedures, and standards as they apply to wastewater collection systems.

o Recordkeeping and Reporting
o Review construction plans for extending sanitary sewer
Monthly salary range: $5,721 to $7,479
Starting monthly salary (DOQ): $5,721 to $6,541
