Who You Are

You're a motivated self-starter with at least three years of customer service and two years of management experience. You lead by example, stay organized, and solve problems with professionalism and patience. You’re proactive, detail-oriented, and bring positive energy to the team. You love the ocean and surf culture, and you’re excited to share that passion with others.

About the Job

Mon - Fri (40 hour work week)

Remote or In-house (in house preferred)

Requirements

Must be located in Oregon or Washington

Travel to and work from our Seaside, OR office once per quarter

3+ years customer service experience

2+ years management experience

Strong organizational and communication skills

Self-motivated with an eye for continuous improvement

Great phone presence and writing skills

Comfortable learning new software and products

Familiar with eCommerce websites and online shopping behaviors

Stoke for surfing and surf lifestyle

Solid knowledge of the surf industry

Responsibilities

Schedule and oversee day-to-day customer service

Hire, train, and support the CS team

Manage escalated customer issues

Improve efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction

Answer phones, emails, and chats

Enter orders quickly and accurately

Keep detailed notes to communicate with the team

Reach out to vendors for stock checks or special orders

Troubleshoot shipping issues with carriers and keep customers informed

Balance multiple tasks across systems and platforms

Help customers make purchase decisions and offer alternatives

Utilize CS team downtime to write and publish product reviews & blogs
