Paradise Acres Garden Center is a new garden center dedicated to providing exceptional products and services to gardening enthusiasts and professionals alike. We are looking for a passionate and experienced individual to join our team as a Garden Center Customer Service Lead.

Job Description: As the Garden Center Customer Service Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive top-notch service and support. You will oversee the daily operations of the customer service team, provide guidance and training to staff, and handle complex customer inquiries and issues. Your goal will be to create a welcoming and informative environment that enhances the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise the customer service team, ensuring high standards of customer care.

Provide training and support to customer service associates, fostering a knowledgeable and motivated team.

Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.

Assist customers with product selection, planting advice, and gardening tips.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, promotions, and garden care techniques.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the sales team to ensure product availability.

Oversee point-of-sale operations, including cash handling and transaction processing.

Collaborate with the management team to achieve sales targets and improve overall customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a customer service or retail leadership role, preferably in a garden center or related industry.

Strong knowledge of plants, gardening, and horticultural products.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to handle challenging situations with patience and professionalism.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
