The Opportunity
Are you an experienced talented Line Cook ready for the next step in your career? The Adobe Resort is looking for a motivated Sous Chef who wants to grow into a leadership role while learning directly under our Executive Chef. This is an excellent opportunity to build management experience while staying hands-on in the kitchen.
What You’ll Do
Work side-by-side with the Executive Chef in daily operations.
Lead by example on the line, ensuring food quality and consistency.
Train, mentor, and support kitchen staff to help them succeed.
Assist with menu specials, prep coordination, and banquet service.
Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and organization standards.
Gain valuable experience in ordering, inventory, and cost control.
What We’re Looking For
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen operations.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
Leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop staff.
Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Culinary degree or certification preferred but not required.
