We are currently recruiting for a Title Clerk/Office Assistant.

Job Description:

This position will perform both automotive title clerk duties and general office/accounting activities for the dealership.

Job Duties Include:

Title Activities:

Processes vehicle Tag and Title paperwork on all new and used vehicles sold.

Prepares tax and title documents.

Submits all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles.

Verifies that funds have been collected and the correct lien holder paid off before processing title applications.

Checks for accuracy in the application and ensures that all information is complete.

Processes/registers all vehicle warranties and extended service contracts, maintaining a log of all contracts processed and mailed.

Ensures customers receive proper documents for vehicle registration Track, document, and review title and funding status

Office/Accounting Activities:

Enters data into established databases, systems or forms

Prepares vouchers, invoices, account statements, reports, and other records and reviews for accuracy

Assists employees, vendors, clients, or customers by answering questions related to accounts, procedures, and services

Files accounting and other paperwork

Scanning documents

Answers multi-line telephone systems and refers calls accordingly

Interacts appropriately with internal/external customers

Provides information to the public and internal customer by mail, email and telephone

Collates packets, folds letters/documents and prepares for distribution and/or mailing

Types all forms of documents, letters, memos, reports and contracts

Opens, sorts, and places mail into designated locations and prepares mail-outs

Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalency

Knowledge of computers and Microsoft software products.

Knowledge of office practices and equipment.

Knowledge of basic math

Knowledge and the ability to utilize good listening skills

Ability to read and comprehend instructions written in English.

Ability to write legibly in English in a clear, concise, and logical manner.

Ability to learn various software systems.

Ability to organize, establish priorities, multitask, work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Ability to perform effectively under stress.

Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Hours: 8:00AM – 5:00PM Monday - Friday
