Primary Purpose

This position serves as a liaison between the program and the community. This position researches, organizes, and resources outreach events, navigates communication with community partners, and represents the program in public forums to support successful recruitment and networking efforts.

Education And Experience:

A bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, social services, or related field preferred.

Strong industry knowledge and 1-3 years’ experience in the field preferred.

Experience with electronic health record system preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, required.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and social skills required.

Good word processing, organizational skills, and written communication skills required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Establish and maintain positive working relationships with community partners.

Attend community partner meetings regarding Treatment Foster Parent recruitment opportunities.

Attend community partner meetings, workgroups, and other networking events to be an ambassador for Kairos’ agency mission and Jackson Services’ available services.

Provide accurate program information to community partners in a variety of formats and environments.

Conduct informational presentations on Jackson Services’ available treatment options and resources for community partners as requested or assigned.

Provide informational presentations for Jackson Services’ staff during staff meetings or other assigned times to report out on community networking outcomes and community partner resources that are available.

Research, resource, and attend community outreach events to recruit staff and Treatment Foster Parents, as well as share opportunities for accessing services with community members. This role will involve attending some weekend events throughout the year.

Develop and maintain tabling materials.

Work with Quality Systems Director to collect and analyze data on local demographics to present to program leadership and support Jackson Services’ quality improvement efforts.

Provide initial response to Treatment Foster Parent referrals.

Advertise for, screen, and recruit volunteers, in collaboration with HR, for program activities, such as groups and camps.

Create, populate, and maintain a running resource list of community partners, outreach events, and other resources that have been scheduled, researched, or completed to track measurable outcomes related to recruitment and outreach.

Demonstrate alignment with the philosophy of the agency’s clinical model by utilizing the approaches in interaction with youth and young adults, families, staff, and community partners.

Abide by ethical codes, mission, values, and professional standards, including confidentiality.

Actively utilize, reference, and follow agency policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Present a positive attitude, professional demeanor and demonstrated respect for youth and young adults, families, staff, visitors, and community partners.

Perform all work tasks in a proper and safe manner per established policies, procedures, and guidelines to prevent unnecessary injury, time loss and agency expense.

Comply with all federal, state and agency health and safety reporting requirements.

Perform other related work as assigned.

Attendance

Maintain prompt and regular attendance in accordance with company policy.

Ability to be flexible and adjust schedule as necessary to fit program needs and meet the needs of youth and their families.

Travel: Travel is expected for required trainings, meetings, and events.
