Job description
Dr. Daniel DeCillis is seeking a part-time dental hygienist to join our team. This position has the potential to turn into a full-time position if desired for the right candidate. Experience and expanded functions certification are preferred but not required for this position. We are willing to start a motivated applicant right out of school or with minimal experience part-time to gain experience. Nitrous oxide certification is also preferred but not required. Our office has a team-oriented approach and requires applicants to be willing to have a positive attitude and help out where needed around the office.
Responsibilities include:
Basic dental hygiene duties
Prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, administration of local anesthetic
Sterilizing instruments
Cleaning and disinfecting operatories
Taking radiographs for new patients and periodic exams
Completing chart notes
Helping out where needed in the office during downtime or cancellations
Required Skills

Attention to detail
Computer skills, preferably experience with Eaglesoft
Pay
Pay for this position is negotiable and dependent upon experience.

Schedule
Normal office hours are Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm but work hours and days are flexible to allow favorable work-life balance.
Experience:
Dental hygiene: 1 year (Preferred but not required)
License/Certification:
Registered Dental Hygienist (Required)
Local Anesthesia (Required)
Nitrous Oxide (Preferred but not required)
