KANDŌ is a high-end, fine-dining, members-only lounge by Chef Josh Dorcak, 3x James Beard Award Finalist and owner/chef of MÄS and NAMA. Opening in late July/early August, KANDŌ is rooted in precision, intimacy, and creativity.
We are seeking a Lead Front of House professional to help guide and elevate the guest experience alongside our culinary and beverage teams.
As our Lead FOH, you’ll be the face of our floor — setting the tone for service, guiding guest flow, and helping create a seamless and memorable environment each night. This role requires high emotional intelligence, presence, and a commitment to the craft of hospitality.
Responsibilities include:
Directing and participating in nightly service, from guest greeting to close
Leading service standards, team training, and pre-service briefings
Supporting reservation flow, pacing, and managing the guest experience
Communicating with the kitchen and bar to ensure smooth execution
Maintaining a deep understanding of the menu, pairings, and product offerings
Anticipating needs and handling service issues with elegance and care
Ideal candidates will have:
5+ years in upscale or fine-dining service, with leadership experience preferred
Deep respect for hospitality and attention to detail
Calm, confident presence on the floor
Genuine interest in crafting incredible experiences for our guests
