Pay Rate: $25.00/hr. Job Description:
Perform equipment pre-installations and setups
Perform equipment corrective maintenance
Perform equipment conversions and upgrades
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
Mechanical and/or electrical aptitude/experience and the ability to use appropriate hand tools, meters, scopes, and other specialized equipment are required.
Full-time travel/andor occasional overnight travel to the factory, training facilities, and customer locations may be required at some point to support activity in different semiconductor fabs around the country. All out-of-state/country travel expenses will be paid.Must be okay with travel/ being away for 6 to 8 weeks if required for training.
Must be flexible with all shifts, days/nights.
Valid Driver's License.
Physical Requirements:
Job duties are often performed in confined areas in a cleanroom environment, in awkward positions, and/or in high places
Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and the ability to lift/carry objects up to 35 pounds are required
May require bending/stooping/crawling/climbing
May require the use of Personal Protection equipment and proper industry safety procedures when working with one or more dangerous elements or conditions such as chemicals, electric currents or high voltage, moving mechanical parts, radiation, etc.
Educational Requirements:
Minimum Education of High School Diploma requiredorequivalent AS degree in an engineering discipline is highly desirable (related engineering discipline is electronics, electrical, mechanical, and chemical)
Military education combined with related experience may be substituted for academic education
Troubleshooting and component board-level repair are a plus.
Precision mechanical repair is a plus.
