We are a local tile and slab company with an opening for a full-time Admin/Showroom Assistant. The main focus of this position is to assist one of the owners on a daily basis, and the secondary focus is to assist with showroom duties as needed. Duties will include, but not limited to:
-Typing correspondence, documents, spreadsheets, etc using word and excel.
-Answering phone calls, taking messages and/or directing calls to the right person.
-Running errands as needed.
-Keeping Admin on schedule and organized.
-Opening and sorting mail.
-Taking notes, emailing notes and correspondence, filing all paperwork in an organized manner.
-Tidying up areas.
-Keeping supplies filled.
-Assisting customers when no one else is available by taking notes, getting prices, etc.
-Tidying up the showroom, putting away and organizing samples.
The ideal candidate is someone who is motivated, reliable, trustworthy, hard-working, and is able to multitask while also prioritizing and managing their time wisely. Looking for someone who has a positive and friendly personality, who can work well independently and is also a team player. Good writing, math, computer & organizational skills are necessary.
Pay is dependent on experience. Will train the right person. Health insurance after 3 months and 401k/Profit Sharing plan after 1 year, for full-time employees only.
