Responsibilities:
- Assist in the construction and paving process by operating equipment to build and pave roads, parking lots, and other surfaces
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
Qualifications:
- Experience in construction
- Familiarity with construction processes and safety
- Proficient in loader operation for material handling
- Valid driver's license
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
AREA TECH:
Be a leader with our team. Looking for a crew member specializing in concrete finishing but willing to work as an asphalt finisher too. Aegis is a full service pavement installation and maintenance company. Aegis was established in 2009.
Extruded Curbing Specific Duties:
Cleaning surfaces to be curbed using push/wire brooms, backpack blowers, and shovels
Jucker - moving concrete from hopper to auger tube
Assist Chute Man as directed while Jucking
Removing existing curb using pickaxe, sledgehammer, and shovels to load on trucks
Variety of final cleaning tasks after curbing process is complete
Assisting in layout of new curb
Assist with setting up machine – installing auger/molds
Finishing curb, based upon previous experience or presentation of skills in which finishing will be taught.
Asphalt Paving Specific Duties:
General laborer duties associated with asphalt paving, patching and prep crews
Shovel, rake, and handle other small tools
Equipment cleanup as needed: Shovels, lutes, rakes, etc.
Operate small power tools
Signal operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment and movement of materials
Perform other duties as assigned

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
